Ok well I wish you good luck. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Unfortunately the only proper way is the vacuum fill and that's a $150 tool up here in Canada.

FJC 43610 43610 - Radiator Coolant Vacuum Refill Kit

That's what you'd need. Unless you know what I meant.

Ok, so what about doing this is advance? Can I prefill my block somehow before it gets crowded after I swap it in, and why can't you fill the block from the top rad hose on the head?

after my build we filled up the coolant and bled it as much as we could making sure the lines are full..started it up and the tstat kicks on quick after that then itll start flowing in and jus keep pouring coolant..didnt do any damage for the very short time

I doubt it would do any damage....as soon as the engine cranks it will suck the coolant down into the engine. Just have coolant ready to fill the jug up when it gets low. If you had a vaccum filler that would be great.......Also if you are worried about it, take the upper radiator hose off and fill the engine from there.

If the weather is warm, what about just removing the T-stad and filling the colant, running it some to warm it up whiel purging air. Then once the air is all purged and coolant all filled (Yes you may get a CEL but I doubt it if its warm weather and your not driving since driving is part of what triggers the Tstadt CEL Code) Then you can install the Tstadt and be good to go?

Take the thermostat out so the coolant/water will immediately start to fill the block.
