Tim dyno'd his car on a dynojet. The customer you are speaking of dyno'd on our Mustang dyno. (and it was 247, which is higher than 240 last time I checked.)

Yes I will be definetely be going back in the spring when the gas stations stop using the winter blend. I think I should be over 250whp easy. I also wonder if I should put in my 1 step colder plugs if that would help any. Also this is towards usmc...This is not the same person that you talked to about your car parts. That was my brother and we use the same login here. He is a real doushebag so I am sorry if it caused you any trouble in any way.

Why do you say that. (Im not that smart in tuning yet). Now you guys got me afraid to drive the car. What kind of timing should I be seeing? What could be causing this other than the gas? I only have the injen intake, stage 2 pulley, zzp header/dp, stock exhaust. Would 1 step colder plugs help any?

Thats no goody because they said you had a little knock issue at already a low spark..

its not bad.. just.. means the gas could be bad.. really...

would putting in 1 step colder plugs help? I always put 93 octane and I usuallly fill up at bp or shell. I guess it is the winter blend.

So when the summer blend comes out and if its the gas, then they should be able to up the timing which then should make more power??

Yes, if the gas is an issue, then we will be able to add more timing with better gas.

Yes, colder plugs can help.

Well thats a tough one...

because theres no other way to explain it... you just shouldnt really have knock at that low of timing..
did they have a wideband hooked up? maybe you were running extremely lean.. but im sure they would have figured that out if you were...

If the wideband is the sensor plugged to the exhaust, then yes. I remember him saying that I did run lean but I would assume that got fixed.

I would assume too... If you were running really lean, that would be part cause of the knock.

Do you remember any AFR numbers they could have said? this would be anywhere from the 10-13 or so, depending on how lean you were..

You were knocking becuase you were running to lean before they tuned you after the header install. They can't add anymore timing and had to back it down froma stage two map becuase you are running leaner than stage two commands. Its a trade off with timing the leaner the afr the lower the timing generally.

Well I know matt said that with just my gm stg2 and cai, I hit 13.2 somewhere in the log. After the install of the header/dp and without their tune(still my gm stg 2 tune), It went up .7 to 13.8. He actually stopped the dyno in the middle of a pull.

Yea no ****... i would too...

Just for reference, a good, safe but powerful afr is in the low to mid 11s...

They should have been able to richen you up if they retuned over the GM stage tune... If they didnt then i have no idea why..

Thats not bad.. that should be able to yield you a bit more power..

an EGT gauge would be awesome at this point.
