PLX is a wideband I believe. The aeroforce interceptor monitors the car.

UPDATE on the CX racing pump: Saw a tiny package waiting for me thinking that there is no way this would be the pump. Well, it is literally half the size of the stock pump. I get the exact same results with this pump as the stock pump BUT worse.

Don't waste your money into this pump. My IAT2's where at 80-100*F with the stock pump and they hover around 120*F with this CX Racing one; this is while cruising.

WTF is wrong with my cooling system then? I'm going to rebuild my stock pumps I have laying around but why is it when I clutch out(neutral) the temps raise like a bat out of hell? This is really starting to annoy me.

My PLX reads everything thru the OBII except for AIT2, i have a seperate AEM wideband. It supposed to be just like the Aeroforce. So where is the AIT2 sensor at? maybe i can add a sensor and tie it into the PLX. Sucks that i cant get any info on this AIT2 crap.

I'm not exactly sure where the sensor is itself but I'm sure you could tie into it.

Another UPDATE: I opened my pumps up, the one I was using is still brand new. I need to see why the cooling system is doing what it is doing.

The IAT2 sensor is the Map sensor located on the pass side on top of the intake manifold.

Atleast thats where it is on my supercharged cav.

yeah i would think i can tie into it, problem is its built into the map sensor so that could get wacky. as for your cooling, are you sure the plumbing is right? is the coolant flowing from left to right? in the filler neck of course.

Me and my brothers are going to re-route the system. If that is where the sensor is then I'm not sure how that would work. You don't want tuning software attached all the time either. You should make a thread and see who else is using the PLX. Getting a good answer is hard to get sometimes. I wish I could help. How many wires tie into the sensor and what do they all do?

Check your hose routing for kinks and flow and your pump for flow. Also make sure the system is bled, OPTB should do that for you. Your temps will heak soak up from the intake manifolds contact with the head as well as the lack of air flow from going slower, stopping, etc. The front mount will basically be useless while your stopped as well.

i have dual pass and S3 HE. No option B, i didnt have any issues bleeding either. Routing is the standard that you find on the forums or from instructions that are online. I cant remember the exact way its routed but i had to redo mine because of kinks. i will look today and let you know how its done.

get an areoforce and a stock pump and make sure your connections are proper with no kinks.

UPDATE: I redid my cooling system and put my stock pump back on since it did work. There entire system was routed wrong but there were more problems than one. I also put my Phenolic spacer on by ZZP. All I can say is... wow, my IAT2's while cruising are at 69*F-low 70's*F.

I'm smiling from ear to ear. Big headache to fix but now that is is done. Well worth it.

Use these threads for help. I routed it the way that is posted in the first post on this thread:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...ctures-274777/

Read through this thread about information on the option B. The small hose and big hose from the Option B have to be the highest part of the cooling system:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...inside-262676/

I would like to thank all of you who helped me out. I really do appreciate it. It's nice to have brothers who can also help and makes things easier for when you get frustrated, LOL.

Awesome Bro, glad to hear a fix. Maybe i should do the spacer and see if my "limp mode" fixes. I dont wanna have to buy an aeroforce just to read my damn AIT2 after i spent $300 on the PLX.
