agreed I wouldnt run that rod without checking for true /resizing the connecting rod, as its probably not round any more with that sort of build up.

There is a lot of arguing in this thread about revving this engine to 7800 but has anyone determined it is beneficial to rev out that far with S2 cams and a ported head with the M62? Al's Cam'd/ported head made peak HP before 7,000 rpms.
