Installing Euthanasia Ported & Built Head. TONS OF PICS
you can not sustain rpms above 7500 on stock shafts. over time after repeated runs {drag racing} to 8k rpms it will elongate the bearings and you will run into issues later on down the road.
bull **** your shocked lol
were not arguing were discussing
2 things you need to have for the engine to live at high rpm ops is a better balancer and nbs
when the bearing elongates you will run into a loss of oil pressure which will lead to a seizure of the balance shaft or shafts or main or rod bearing carnage and possibly block destruction
he had a zzp nbs seize up in the block

Lol well really. How many people have spun their motors with stock balance shafts? Lots. How many people have spun their motors with the stock damper? Lots. You say an ATI is a must have but NBS or delete isn't because of a technicality in the build book, yet GM sells them for a reason. Comes down to the chances you take and if you're willing to take it.

Well lets say one seized and caused the chain to snap..
I dont think zzp took into consideration that the oem ones r hardened and ground and there's is just steel..the expansion and contraction rates r totaly different between the 2..i think it expanded and locked up against the bearing. I couldn't get it out to see exactly wat happened.
