I had an identical build to Adams with a 2.5" exhaust. Sounded restricted while on the dyno, like a jet. Switched to a 3" and all is well now sounds wicked too. The dyno showed gains up top. Just sayin'

Most likely the muffler that gained you more cfm and power.

I was hoping that he'd make bigger #'s here and the cams would've peaked higher, but it is what it is. I'm very surprised your maxing out the 80's already. Hey at least your just about ready for a TVS!

both setups had a straight through non-chambered muffler and resonator.

Yeah, I had plenty of fuel available all over. Used 80# w/ev6 too. Hook your meth kit back up

You could have them cleaned and flow matched.. Or just buy new ones since you'll need to eventually

i'll run some cleaner perhaps. meth kit is hooked up and was spraying during the pulls but we didn't tune for it as a fuel source, but simply a means of keeping temps down - which do SKYROCKET considering this heaton m62 makes 21 psi now!!

May help you rev out to 8k if you do use it as a fuel source. I'm still baffled at how you're making 21psi. Aren't you at a higher elevation than me too?

yeah 18-19 is what I was seeing. I really doubt you have a clogged cat cuz the high flow ones break up when they fail.

Mine didn't. My high flow cat in my OTTP long tube all came apart in the front from the meth and stayed intact. Was a bitch to bust out haha.

damn, that is crazy to hear. I've had a few converters fail on me and all have simply vanished. Never ran much meth through one though.

It's close. Every car is a little different. More exhaust flow would probably gain you a few more ponies at the expense of some bottom end tq.
If it ain't broke don't fix it.
