OK so the parts were delivered at 9:28, and signed for by some guy... who doesn't work at the shop. so now the guy that works there is out on a goose chase searching for a part that must have been delivered elsewhere.

The name doesn't matter, he doesn't work there.
after an hour of talking with fedex, tom @ ced, soundperformance, etc, i found that the part was delivered to a chevy parts hub a few miles away from the shop. a guy should be going there to pick it up now. so very soon, they should be working on my car. how long should it take to do? an hour or so?? -fuel pump & filter basically

You sound like my friend who sent his truck in for a big ass build. Was supposed to take two weeks... Two months later he still doesn't have it back. This is why I do all my **** myself.
I asked about the name because then maybe they can track down who the hell signed for it and where they were lol, but looks like they figured it out.
You can drop the tank and swap everything in a little less than an hour if you know the steps. My first time it took me 2 hours to swap the pump and make new connectors and get it back in the car...but I was in a parking lot with limited tools lol
