Rice, did you ever end up using those blower hold down bolts Tom from CED sent you?

If so, how did they work? I held off using them, because they looked a lot different than the factory bolts.

The hex bolts? they lookied the same to me; I used them. seem just fine!

I kinda blew everyone away

 

The bolts Tom sent me werent hex head bolts.

They looked more like a torx bolt. They were in opel vauxhall packaging. I thought I saw you post about them, that's why I asked.

I figured Tom was out of it when he sent them to me, so I just used my factory bolts.

 

Idk maybe they were hex bolts maybe not they work tho lol

 

That's not a hex bolt ricer. Those are the factory bolts

 

star bolts? idk can't remember whatever, they worked out

anywho the shop got the new harness installed yesterday and began tuning. he should be working on it right now!

if all goes well and she doesn't boom boom on the dyno i should have the car back in my possession on friday! sooooo excited

tuner just called, said he was just out driving her around getting it driveable.

he also said the 80# injectors are not supported by the PCM which i guess is news to me so he's got a long way to go dialing things in, but it should be on the rollers today!

 

This is why you have someone that knows these cars tune it

 

Besides it taking more time i don't see the big deal. car's a car.

says it drives down the road fine though
