yea, you too need some tires. get some, run mid 12's (or better) thenwe can respect you that much more. id LOVE to see this beast on some good tires

How much did the TVS blower set you back Area? How much hp/tq can you expect with the TVS on a stock cam with a 3.1 pulley VS a 2.75 after you tune for it? Also what do you mean by 7gph is that a different fuel pump?

7gph is the injector size for his water/meth injection. 7 gallons per hour

ehhh....

with his engine the ability to flow much more air you wont run into as much boost stacking nor as much PD across the intake manifold with the same size pulley as a "stock" engine car. Tus his AIT's wont suffer until he starts to attain a larger cylinder air mass that would cause air to back up and build boost.

its not just RPM that causes heat, its the extra air by compressed ageist its self in a consistent volume that does. the tvs will only put out X amount of air per rev thus, he'll need more revs to build pressure. as the delta-P jumps so will head flow....but also heat, however it wont happen on his motor until he gets the rev's needed to build more "boost"

so once again, with that CR, head work, ect the engine will use a much larger portion of the air put out by the tvs, thus requiring smaller pulleys to build enough positive pressure that will generate the needed head flow for big power.

Well that makes me feel better. I chose to get the 70 & 63 mm pulleys and I can borrow the 75 for the initial tuning from a local TVS test pilot.
Hopefully the engine is back on it's way tomorrow. The block passed the zyglo test and is being assembled this weekend.

my tires are fine. i really don't feel the need to break the drivetrain right now. that who lack of fund deal doesn't set well with me and my daily driver.

id rather spin than break something, and the whole stock clutch thing isn't going to hold et streets as it is. me personally. id prefer the tires to be the weak link in traction devices, not the axles or the clutch.

call me silly, but spinning doesn't bother me a bit

Damn, which injectors you running again?
I sometimes hit 82% on the 79's at peak boost when it's cold, but usually only 72-73.

as for the top end power, that's why I did the turbo swap, I like having traction down loe (but the abilty to completely rip the tires loose through 120+mph when I want to lol)

I'm hitting the dyno again with the new pump and injectors since I never dyno'd the current setup yet. 411whp was with a 17.2 afr and a burnt out fuel pump on 60's. If I had time to put the meth in she'd be making 430-440whp no prob on pump gas

im still on the 60's paul

also keep in mind, i don't make peak power till about 74-7500 rpms now due to the blower and cam combo. idc screams above 7200

cobaltcc. i KNEW hat car looked familiar. if need be, i have the stage 2 tune file for that car i can load into it for the time being.

nice, yeah I'm still waiting for the time to do the cams on my car and a few other things. might just hold off and do the whole motor at once. with the stock cams my peak is a little above 6200 or so

oh that I know. I got 2 cars and all the parts necessary to rebuild the car sitting in storage at my job/ Should it die, it will be back stronger pretty quickly
