more boost?

more boost?

I have heard that on my stock 06 sc, you can switch some tubing around from the wastegate to get more boost. if its true what engine problems should i expect if any?

yea, it's silly.

basically, you want to run the least possible amount of boost to hit a certain hp goal. Suppose you want to hit 300hp. One car does it on 21 psi, and the other car does it at 16psi. (just making up #'s here) The car that does it at 16psi is running much more efficiently. Less boost, same hp, more reliable car.

Ricer math says more boost = more power. not always the case.

Buy upgraded injectors and a smaller pulley with a tune. Its the only way to get more boost.
