yeah i know
buuut he said 'blablabla people run them with the cams no issues so i recommend them' sooo YOLO nicks got em for a cxnthair cheaper than zzp sells em for
Exactly what I though hahaha. I'm going back and forth on if I want to sell them or not. I won't be getting cams, but If my turbo doesn't spool till 4500 then I'd like to ride that power to 8k instead of 7. As for E85... Damn I have always been lucky I guess. Back home it was a mile down the road and here in indy its maybe 5. Its good stuff but I don't know about driving that far

i know, they dont even sell the 75# supertechs so i ind of expected that answer, but on the other hand zzp knows their **** and i doubt they would recommend **** that wouldn't work for my described application
Both supertechs and their springs would work. First thing I thought, even if they sell both, they would rather sell the ones they make for higher profit.. Not saying they aren't good springs. They are, I'm just thinking out loud

I purchased them from them last year. I ordered the 78# supertechs off their site, but they sent me 75# supertechs. I made a note of this in the reviews.
I'm sure the zzp springs are just fine.
Once u add ti retainers though, they are almost as expensive as the supertechs.
That's why I went with supertechs over zzps. Also, because they are a dual spring.
Oh I know, but I would expect the to recommend their product, as you all said lol.
However, when I was asking about fuel pumps recently, they actually recommended I get the AEM 320 E85 model over using the ZZP 450 that I have in the other car. That was good news because I have a new AEM sitting at home lol.

i know just figured while we were halfway on the subject of fueling
hmm i wonder if my car has had the fuel system recall done yet i should do that now if not

I agree. This is pretty much the setup on my now winter ride. The engine from my red 05 is in it and has a ported head, S2 cams, ZZP springs, 80's, 2.7, E85, just with a stock catback at least for now. I anticipate 300.
Well here is I guess a little comparison. Nothing real concrete, but its relevant to this. Back when I was on meth and a 2.8 at the track on a fairly conservative tune I was running 13.8's and trapping 105-106 with a best of 106.7mph. I switched to E85 and a 2.7 and to a 3" exhaust instead of 2.5 and was running 13.6's at 108-109 with a best trap of 109.7mph. That was also what I would consider a fairly conservative tune by today's standards. Stock head and stock cams for both events.

how much power were you making (if you knew)?
if i could drive worth a **** i bet my car would pull close times to that. i'm also on a conservative tune

I don't know what power levels. If I had to guess I'd say 260-265whp on meth and 280-285whp on E85, but that is just speculation. I am contemplating throwing a 3" downpipe and fixing the 3" exhaust I have laying here on the gray car in the spring and saying screw the stock exhaust lol then pushing it a little. On the stock blower 310+whp shouldn't be much trouble with the ported head and cams on an exhaust that can breathe.
