Where did you get your head ported at and what was the difference between the flow charts? What all did you have done?

SuckMyBalts: i dont think i'ma go for the turbo kit. most likely the TVS with a smaller pulley. maybe 2.6 or 2.5? (what do you think) i could get one made. my step dad is a mechanist. and ported head, ZZP header downpipe an full exhaust with cat. 60# injectors and a good tune. an possibly e85

where do you think that would put me at?
an what are your thoughts on any other mods that wont cost alot and will gimme good power. without breaking open the motor too much.
and if i switched to e85 with would i have to do to run that?

i also know from a friend who has a SS/TC who actually sent his car to hahn. he said they did a really shitty job on his an he had to send it back for a re tune he's maken 385whp an i'm pretty sure he's runnin 93 but it could be e85

You need 80's to run e85 at that power level.

Depending on the tune and from what I've seen from people here that ranges from 270-350 or there abouts.

Hey man I can give you a lot of knowledge and information about the TVS seeing as that I have one. First off, running the TVS with all the other supporting mods "exhaust, injectors, heat exchanger, etc" you will max out the 60lbers on pump gas 91-93. So you have to decide. You have two choices, either A grab 80lbers and run 91-93 and you will be around 320ish whp depending on your tuner. With meth you can make up to 340ish depending on your tuner. Some people hit higher numbers some hit lower it just depends on the tune. Your best option though is to get VERY large injectors, the idc 1000cc aka 98lbers and run e85. If you run 80lbers and e85 you will max them out with a 2.9 pulley. If you spray meth and e85 with the 80lbers you could probably get away with a 2.8 up to 7k rpms.

My best suggestion to you if you are going to run the tvs is to decide how you are going to fuel it. The tvs loves octane whether its from e85 or methanol, but you basically HAVE to have one or the other to get the numbers you are wanting. Also, the TVS doesn't need to have extremely small pulleys like our stock m62 supercharger. In fact the majority of people don't lower the pulley below a 2.8 or 2.7. There is already a shop though that can fabricate a 2.6 and lower for you. Nate at smoothflow pulleys makes all of the pulleys for the most part that are floating around here. They are great pulleys and he can make you whatever you would like.

If you want to be able to break that 350 whp mark then your best bet is to get your head ported, run 1k injectors, find a VERY good tuner, and run e85. I don't share my numbers with people because they are for me and me only. But I can tell you from plenty of dyno time *over 300 pulls at this point*, that without high octane from either methanol injection or e85 it's a pain in the ass to make good numbers.

So with all of that info provided, if you wanted a SICK reliable daily driver this is what I would do personally.

Pick up a used tvs in the classifieds here or on the redlineforums, I believe there is one here that is brand new almost like 4k miles for 1500shipped, new they retail for about 2k +shipping. With that add a ported head with 78lb valve springs - This will allow you to rev to 7500rpms without any issues and short bursts up to 8k. Then all you have to do is decide your fueling method. If you are running e85, there is no question, go with 1000cc injector dynamics injectors. They are simply the best injectors made and you can thank area47 *Had one of the highest hp tvs cars and ran those injectors on this forum*. Even with the injectors you will need to do a return style fuel system. OTTP sells a kit for around 375, however you can build a kit much cheaper then that with the same exact parts. Lastly, I will upgrade the fuel pump for a 100 bucks to a 255lph pump and you will be set!

CLIFF NOTES -
TVS + 1000CC INJECTORS + E85 + PORTED HEAD + RETURN STYLE WITH 255LPH + AMAZING TUNE = 375-400WHP *Roughly*
