I'm finding the lowest 4 MAF values have the biggest impact. Set them leaner to help the idle. Don't ask me why.

Dan's had hardly any impact on idle tuning. Maybe the turbo setups are easier to tune for them. Can only hope.

bryan and i were discussing that over the weekend. his car idles great at 16.0. mine wants to **** itself at anything lower than 15.8.

dunno. it's not an SBC so nothing is going to work the way it should

Man, I'm going to come and visit you guys with a trunk full of cams, valvesprings, neutral balance shafts, some cash, and few cases of beer if I decide to do those mods. You guys seem to have all this stuff worked out and down to a science minus different cars minor reactions.

lol you and me both... I'm terrified of working on this motor... I can do an SBC with my damn eyes closed, tear a motor apart, pull and replace motors in one night, but damn when it comes to DOHC I cringe

We refer to timing an engine with multi-colored chain links to be on par in difficulty with a kid's coloring book. Area47 doesn't do well at coloring books.

I got it now.

The funny thing is that I didn't use the colored links at all when I replaced my headgasket! I used the marking on the crank pulley and lined up the arrows on the cam gears accordingly. Then I rotated the assembly by hand to see if I was on. It only took three quick times total to get it right.
