yeah i know, i have their o2 sensor housing, downpipe, and exhaust. Its a 3" vband exit on the turbo to their catless downpipe, and full 3" street exhaust with the resonator and muffler. All polished stainless. The quality is unreal, the bends in the exhaust fit the factory S shape in the floor board like its OEM. I have a bunch of pics in turbo duck thread.

yeah but that has a lot to do with the driver, the tune, are you really taking the car out to 22 psi everyday and or 8000 rpm? Just too many variables. But yeah we all know there are some nice Wednesday made motors out there. LOL

put the wide band in the downpipe, when I had my lc-1 with the bosch setup in the o2 housing off the turbo it was all over the place. I tried it in 3 locations, the best was the downpipe without a cat. The o2 housing just off the turbo should be for your narrow band stock bank 1 sensor 1. I put a plug in the other one that came with the lc-1. I deleted bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor sense its for the catalytic and I dont have one now. Delete the sensor in hpt.

all factors that have nothing to do with the integrity of the bottom end. My bottom end is completely fine. The only reason I made the swap is because I'm planning for the future, and because the cost of swapping out one cylinder is more expensive than just doing an engine build.

Or you bite the bullet a little more and get a treadstone. Higher quality part than cx racing.

Catted downpipe? If so maybe getting clogged? Slight boost leak, tighten down all your clamps? Leak at the exhaust manifold during full boost, gonna be impossible to hear with an open dump and that kind of leak will make the turbo work harder to maintain boost and my guess cause a drop in power. Tighten down all the nuts on the manifold. If it was my car I would start from there.

Yes you will need to and I recommend going on ebay and looking for a used 2.2 tensioner and alternator, preferably with low mileage. I got the alternator for $40, it only has about 46k on it and it works perfectly. You'll also need the 2.2 alternator pigtail, which I also got off of eBay for about $25 from a company called Standard. I got the Good Year Gatorback belt for the 2.2, the number on that is 4050400, it was only about $10 shipped, I hope it's the right one lol. Haha I got a Precision turbo too, I went with the 5531 MFS, makes awesome power with awesome spool time, especially for a 0.63 A/R turbine housing.

When do you hit full spool with the 5531?

Really good info man thanks. My friend was actually gonna do this build on his lnf but he wants to build his motor first. So I jumped on it and sold my TVS and everything I had. Lol. Do you know what your making power wise?
