I get about a quarter sized oil drop under my car everyday after several pulls coming from the bov area. Its not leaking a ton. My oil looks clean and is full, its just annoying to blow smoke after you pulled hard on someone in your car club and they are like, "dude why is your car smoking".
Tell them ur running on 3cyls lol

i have had two major issues with my build since I got this thing over 400whp. The hahn manifold was the cause of a 2 month long boost leak search that didnt turn up until i pulled it off the car. This time it was the first thing I checked before I bought another boost controller. I have already wasted 40 bucks on welding it up, now I think its going to go in the trash unless someone comes up with a better use for it.

yeah, i knew it was going to be problematic just never figured so soon. I had a racecar builder fix this thing up, extra heavy welds. Its just that the plate is so thin that it flexed under boost and under vacuum and after just a week of 24 psi pulls its leaking boost like a sieve... MAN I AM SO sick of this car, right now. Time to take a break from it for a while.

Simple fix put a new flange on it done deal u can buy one with O ring grooves machined in the face. So that thing can flex and twist all it wants.

on a better note, got to run with my local car club and had a ton of fun racing cars with V8's kept up with them in spite of having a horrible boost leak.

At the power I am making I am pretty sure the saab mani is going to hold me back. TTR made like 20whp on their manifold over the LNF unit. Taking a 20 horsepower hit after I come this far... I cant do that. I may buy a TTR manifold.

There is oil on my boost controller, blow off valve, and I get a white bluish puff of smoke on decel only. This leads me to believe its a PCV issue. I can see oil in my PCV setup passing the catch can and getting into the turbo on the intake side.

I rebuilt the turbo so I know the seals are perfect. I have searched other sites and found a guy in the same boat after a rebuild. Before I speculate that my turbo is messed up. It never does this below 15 psi, there is no smoke any other time in any of my runs, and my cyl pressures are 200 across all four cylinders.

I have read its OK, no biggie you have to expect some oil on big psi turbos, to its crank case pressures, to the worst of scenarios.
when you cut out all the baffling what do you expect

change the valve cover up the line size to -10 minimum directly over a crank vent

I am pretty sure you and everyone and their mother did as well. The manifold sucks, we have established that. And in my case I established it twice.

Thanks for the info MRB. I paid attention the last time we had all these conversations way back but I didnt follow through. It has now caught up with me and will be next after I fix my manifold issues once again. I am going to come up with a couple of -12 AN over the steel plate on the back of the valve cover.
