Easiest route would be zzp kit, which will get you in the range you wanna go without the headache of piecing a kit together and going thru things not fitting right
Hey guys, I just have a quick question for those of you that have the ZZP Turbo Kit with the boost controller... When you first installed everything what did you start off with the boost controller? And how high should I crank it at first? I'm on stock internals with the S252et full Turbo Swap. I dont want to go crazy and have too much boost, but I was hoping to push a little more than 10psi that it starts with. Any help or advice would be appreciated!!!
just turn it all the way down and see what spring is in the wastegate, i'm guessing 9psi. and then turn it up from there and look at your boost each time you turn it up
If you have a stock clutch, it will most likely slip at boost levels above 15-16psi with the 252 turbo. If you have a clutch upgrade and a way to scan for o2s and knock, then I would run 18psi.
My stock clutch is still holding at 19 psi. It's been a few months and still holding great, once it starts slipping I'm going to upgrade so I can get retuned and up the boost. Just playing the waiting game now.
every and any lsj making a good amount of power needs a zzp stage 4. i've drove on stock, gmpp, ky3, exedy, and a spec 3+. by far the zzp is my favorite. and if you're not making enough power to warrant the stage4. go with the gmpp. MORE than worth every penny
