Makes me remember back in the day when you got a header and dp (for example) you couldn't wait to get them on and do some wrenching. Now for me it's like arghhhh I have to change a damn BELT! But in reality it's a lot worse than that right now

Good news, they know. But how long is this gonna take to get rectified? Did they say? I emailed ZZP last night saying I have the same issue as you.

Well they had 1 set in stock that was wrong also
They contracted comp and just placed a new order
So they have to be cut, shipped to zzp and then have the hex welded in
Shipped to us

My defective cams just got back to zzp yesterday

I thought the same but i have 3 heads,
Each had a Different valves open/closed

Seems like depending on the head, valve clearance, and preload
Every head is slightly different In the amount of clearance

Matt tells you it's an issue advise but sent me this haha.

"We have more cams on order and this was brought to Comp's attention. At 1.201, you would most likely not have any issues. However, it is on the outer edge of reasonable preload in the lash adjusters. If you want to exchange the cams, that is fine."

He may be right but I really don't want to put these in, do a leak down to find out they don't work then have to send them back and waste more time.

Ya but even tho it's a small amount you pay 650, I'd want them to be the exact spec...... that's like getting bearings and saying ehh its .021 off and slapping it together

i am about to pick up a TVS hopefully today. my current engine mods are:

magnaflow 2.5" cat-back
stock air box mod with AEM dryflow filter
zzp shorty header
Vibrant 3" DP w/ highflow cat 2.5" exit
dual pass endplate
zzp stage 3 and stock h/e
custom flow-thru supercharger coolant tank
ottp stage 1 kit*
*60lb Flowmatched Injectors
*2.8" Smoothflow MPS pulley system
*Injector Harness
*Larger Idler Pulley
*NGK 1 Step Colder Copper Plugs
zzp phenolic spacer
meth injection with 8 GPH nozzle and LED activation light 2.5 gallon tank
throttle body spacer tapped for meth injection
WOT box with launch control and 2-step
Trifecta custom tune with adjustable rev limiter

right now i have around 17 psi of boost. what size pulley would be good to run on the TVS? it will come with a 2.6 but i think that might be a little much. i was thinking more like a 2.8 or 2.9. whats the smallest pulley i can run on 60's and 50/50 meth?
