Official TVS Thread!!!
ok so I installed my TVS 2.8 and 80s today and when I hit the dyno everything was great up until I get some mysterious Knock
now the plugs where changed a week before I shot down to the shop and it was holding full boost the entire time on the dyno
further more my tuner turned down the sensitivity on the knock sensor to practically nothing and in lower timing it was still around
so question is
Faulty knock sensor or something more serious?

well he should have known that when he turned down the knock sensor and the problem was still there that you had a problem that needed fixed
Well that was the issue at hand from the get go "faulty knock sensor or something more serious" but thanks for your input I trust the tunes that come out of smg and just replaced the knock sensor headed back to smg this friday

Hope you find out what it is, hopefully it was that sensor so you can finish out the tune and see what she makes!
I wish I could build my head that's sitting in the closet, and the bottom end of the motor and shoot for 400 crank, but I don't know if the car will ever see that, between wedding, honeymoon, and house happening from now till spring.
we'll see tho

Ever since Ive bolted my TVS on I've had belt squealing issues. It squeals like a dying pig till its warm then stops. Anyone else have this issue? Things I've done:
- Flipped over my GMS2 shorter belt to run on the other side
- Replaced my belt (shorter one)
- Ran the stock belt with an oversized tensioner
- Currently running a GMS2 belt with oversized tensioner
None seem to cure the issue

Have you checked the other pullies or the tensioner itself?
Also; pull the belt off and start it to eliminate the timing set/engine itself.
Damn rootbeer; I have the 80mm and I thought 15psi was a lot...
Can't wait to try the 2.6"

I don't know how many psi im running, im on a 2.8, thing pegs at 20 ( stock ss/sc gauge ) then goes to zero.
I might get an aem boost gauge when I have an extra 3-400 laying around

I know for a fact it's the belt. I can spray lube on the belt while its running and it will stop for a short time. It did it with the stock and oversized tensioner. It's definitely squealing off one of the top pullies. Just don't get why after I put my TVS on this has been an issue. I even swapped blower pullies with no difference.

I guess there's a possibility of it. It's just odd I started this battle the day my TVS went on. I thought I had it beat last year but it came back when I put my motor back in. After 10 min of driving it goes away. Very annoying haha.

it says that because that is the gauge that is in the TC's. i am almost positive that it will be a plug and play replacement for SC's
