y would u get booted from the track? i dont hav a roll bar in mine and i plan on taking mine to the track once im back and ur building urs the same as mine is..is ther a certain time to run that u need a roll bar?

slowly but surely. Putting the head back together tomorrow at work after i wash tank it. Then throwing in the cams and will probably throw it back on this week. If i get a chance. Owning a house sometimes puts the car on the back burner.

 

if u havent run your setup u probably wont come close to an 11.50. Esp if you dont have slicks or the suspension. I have litterally at least 100 passes in this car, and my new setup ill have to learn all over again

 

i have the suspension and i also have slicks along with the axles and trans for it..jus cuz i havent taken this setup to the track does not mean it wont hit a good time..not sayin im a great driver but that does not make me incapable of hitting an 11.50

I agree. But just saying will I guess I won't go to the track because my car is too fast is getting a little ahead of yourself IMO. Zrated is the only person laying the times he does with a TVS. Like he said, it didn't happen overnight. Took countless passes of learning his car. Go to the track and see what it does. You run an 11.50 and they kick you out after for no cage, then that's sweet. You can drive home with a smile on your face. I would atleast lol.

 

its not really getting ahead of myself..if it hits an 11.50 and i get kicked then i jus wasted a trip...im not sayin the 1st pass is goona hit a 11.50 but lik i said jus cuz i dont put my videos up and take it to the track does not mean i cant drive it...new set up? for the track yes but have i driven plenty of other cars at the track? yes..it will take a little getting used to but u guys are acting lik hes the only TVS that can lay down a good time...as of now yes he has a great time and i commend that but u guys forget ther is a few of us that have pretty nasty setups that dont run em alot..i personally nvr wanted to run on stock axles just for my own sanity..ik alot of ppl do but its a personal choice now i have the trans and axles so id have no problem takin it to the track..this isnt a dick measuring competition nor am i trying to make it out to be im jus sayin thers more ppl with good setups (his setup is the exact same as mine pretty much)..its not a very close place for me to go so i would jus rather be content knowing wut i can prolly run and wait till i get home to WI wher i can jus drive down the road and go to the track and if i get kicked off then its jus a quick drive home instead of over an hour

 

I never said you or your car can't do it. I'm saying it's a lot easier to say 11.50 then it is to see on a time slip. That's all.
