ported blower worth it?
Porting both the blower and intake manifold you will see respectable gains, also upgrading to an ls4 tb would also help. I would (because people, derek, have told me abou this) port your head as well because yeah porting the supercharger and your intake manifold will help, but then the air is just going to get stopped or slowed down when it enters your head. Ya know? You are on a eaton m62 right?
Steigmeir do an excellent job I have paid for and looked at their work. Very nice, and if you need a rebuild on the snout well worth the money, but unless I needed that front end rebuild, I personally would not do it tho'....
Here is my 2 cents on it. First off I always went by the saying if it's not broke don't fix it. The eaton m62 is a VERY efficient blower stock, let alone when we pulley it down so low. With that being said I am not a fan of porting the inlet any larger then stock, however smoothing out the burs/roughness on the inside of that and the intake manifold is a good idea. For anyone who has stuck there hand inside of the m62/intake manifold you know how rough it can be, smoothing this out im sure would "slightly" help iat2's and air flow. Considering most people don't have the tools that eaton does at there finger tips for flow testing things I personally don't think its a good idea to have the average run of the mill person port the inlet. Porting something to much can cause you to lose horsepower/torque and simply just change the way the air is flowing which can be good/bad but without any testing I wouldn't do it.
If you are going to go this route obviously smooth things out but make sure you do a before and after dyno. If you are looking for big gains, you won't find them in the supercharger. Instead look towards the head, mainly the exhaust side of it. I recommend finding someone decent with a dremel that knows what there doing to smooth out the supercharger, intake manifold and port your head. Then you will pick up some real power.
