This, I have friend here locally that did some pulls with just an exhaust and header and was impressed with the seat of the pants dyno. My car felt slow at launch comparatively. However on the hwy I left him by a few car lengths. I feel the SC just makes better "fun hp". Its all relative.

Go get her tuned, and find out.

Report back with your data.

Oh i know just replying, and i went with 50#s because i had a friend who said his car started stumbling after he got 60s and i was told they cant max out on the m62 and plug and play with our car so i went with it....also heard you have a bit of belt slippage more possible with a 2.8/2.7 as opposed to 2.9

50's are a more ideal sized injector....

Not to mention they are easier to get to idle like stock.

i had a 2.9 running E85 and made 280 whp tuned by chevycobaltss3. still had stock catback, badmab shorty header and 3" catted downpipe. so i had some room to grow with the exhaust as well as all stock mounts and stock worn down clutch. so i see 265-270 being plausable.

What u heard is a few people talking about un-responsible owners, hell bennyhhr has called james(ccss3) for advice before, he knows what he is doing but when u have a customer ask for an aggressive tune and then put 87 gas in the tank because they cant afford 93 u get a blown engine and thats not his fault. Bennyhhr also tunes zrates on here and his engine blew as well but no one blames benny for it because it was something out of his control just like james.

chassy dynos aren't accurate I would take that 280 on a 2.9 with a grain of salt

With whp numbers always questionable and some of us dont go to the track so we alwys have people with different opinions on how much power ur making.

Well, if the boost comes on at the right RPM, and the stars align, and you choose the pokemon card, you could net close to 257whp.

my friend has 05 sc on the dyno its showing 243hp 231ftlb tq he has destroyed every gmstg1 ss/tc around here the point is everyone gets so hung up on numbers for everything people shouldn't be so hung up on numbers they should be hung up on real world results if you want to compare 2 cars line them up if you want to bench race numbers and pretend to be fast then by all means go for it
