S/C + T/C set up and grocery list
I really wanna tc/sc my LSJ, although I have a good idea of my list of parts I know I’m am definitely missing something, I contacted zzp about a kit they used to have and was told this set up was inefficient so they did away with the kit and didn’t keep a list.... but y??? U would have instant power on demand.....No one can answer I hear complaints that no one wants to tune something like that. So here I am trying to find a list of parts, what would be the best tune or someone that can, I can pay as long as I can get someone who really know how to tune. Anyways any advice would be amazing thanks.

The big issue is it’s hard to tune for and it is in essence very Inefficient. You will get much better results from a properly setup turbo kit. Yes a twincharged setup makes instant power but it’s useless because putting it down on a fwd platform isn’t gonna happen without runnng slicks.
The m62 just acts a restriction and limits peak power. Just throw an EFR turbo on and you will still make good low end power without all the tuning woes.

I mean all you're doing is turboing the lsj and routing the turbo exit to the throttle body on the blower. If you cant put that together then this is way over your capabilities.
You'll need big enough injectors and likely will have to run e85 due to the air charge temps you'll see.
Really if you want instant power buy a TVS or EFR turbo.

Definitely within my capabilities lol, like I said I can put it together but then where do I tap for the turbo oil feed hoses u kno Little information like that is very helpful among a few other things. I have the LSJ n I don’t know much about the different turbos yet still doing research that’s y I asked what I did, thanks for the information I’ll have to look into those turbo set up I may jus have to find an LNF platform to play with.

Using a KO4 turbo (stock LNF turbo) is going to be a waste of your time. Honestly if you want to see if you can make some power try a EFR 7670 or 8374 to use the blower to help in the down low rpms and help get the turbo spooled.
If the M62 was clutched you could likely make some serious power with a twin charge system. It's not clutched or has a large bypass so you have a very hard time bypassing the parasitic loss from the blower, plus all the excess heat you're going to make.

You still end up with the same problem. The m62 becomes the restriction. Also the liquid to air heat exchanger is another restriction as well as increasing heat.
You will I’ll be hard pressed to make more then 400whp and you will be doing so at a high temp. Twin charged is neat but doesn’t make sense on this platform.
Efr6758 will easily make that or more if you want to push it a bit and it will still spool fast. Maybe like 800-1200rpm slower than the twin charged. And that’s a saving grace for the trans and traction. Most people even slow spool more than that on purpose.

zzp way was wrong you don't want to run the blower in bypass so the first thing is to run a stock gtp pulley on the m62 and slow the blower down a little more it will still spool a large snail really fast and the power you make and short spool time negates any loss from the blower

I'm running a twincharger now and still working on tuning it; I'm not confident enough to have an opinion as there are several things I am still trying to understand with it but hit a speed bump by killing the synchros in the trans. It's a 2.4 LE5 engine too, so the SC doesn't punch like you'd think but it is for sure more torquey than the LE5 alone, I love it and so much easier to clutch with a SPEC stage 3. Follow my post below to keep up on the updates, I'm going to get back in the project car groove here.
