Is it worth getting a injen intake over the airbox mod? Will there be more gains or better sound?

Makes sence whe nyou think of the physics behind it.

Your intake is pre-super charger.

When air is drawn into the intake, it is accelerated,
this lowers the pressure, and the tempautre. I believe
its called a venturi effect.

All it does is sound good. Mine fits like ****, and molested the **** out of my fuel trims until i was able to tune for it.

Was the only 3" stainless at the time.

What's the point of having one of these threads if people aren't going to use it for the information that's already in it???

Well, I jumped on the band wagon, and finally purchased an Injen Intake. The only reason I bought it was for the great price I found it for. I kind of dig the new Amsoil ea nano fiber filters they use as well. They look to be much better than AEM's dryflow filter. I'll let you know how I like it after I install it this weekend.

People with the INJEN Intakes:
Does your intake rub on your PCM and the brake lines like the K&N Typhoon does?

People with K&N Intakes:
How are you keeping your intake away from the PCM and the brake lines?

I didnt install mine yet, but judging from install photos and the instructions it does not. I'll let you know. I'm waiting for my Hydrashield to come in the mail before I install my intake.

Mine came with the hydrashield (K&N TYphoon intake)

Had to take it off because it was starting to wear a hole in my brake line though.

Lucky I got a refund from K&N,
But Im kind scared to put in a diffrent intake without knowing for sure if ill have
the same problems.

I miss that wine,
and the lil extra power it lets you have
