I love the Injen intake !!! I just installed mine yesterday, and couldnt be happier. The install was cake, and it fits great. I don't know why people have issues of wearing a hole in the intake pipe where it enters the fender. If you install the vinyl strip around the hole, and take your time adjusting the intake, it will fit perfectly w/o any rubbing issues.

FYI, Turbo Tech Racing is having a sale on the Injen intake today. I just bought one, I'm thinking of running it with the E-1009 K & N filter I have from a previous airbox mod.

I just switched to ZZP Intake: It was a bitch to get in, tight fit, but NO PCM rubbing! No Brake LIne rubbing. There is ONE spot where it rubs abit on the front part but I bent the lip up with plyers some, and will install some peice there to protect it. So far I love it. Got my Long Term Fuel Trims up abit too.

I also have weapon-r intake, unlike k&n filters is made of foam, but Im not sure if foam is better retain the dirt outside than the material of k&n.

Just got my Injen Intake but after hour and hours that **** just WOULD NOT FIT. I had heard that there were some issues with that but I had no idea it would be so bad. Its like it wasn't even made for my car. Eventually I just gave up and put the stock intake back on so I can at least use the car until I figure out what I'm going to do. I'm pretty fed up right now. I might just return it.

I envy you then. It was hardcore rubbing my brake lines and the bracket didn't even come close to lining up. I MIGHT try again tomorrow but after several hours today I'm pretty frustrated.

I mighty try again tomorrow but its unlikely after fighting with it for so many hours. I'll probably just trade it back in and shop around for something else.

I'm looking at the OTTP intake as a replacement. Not much I was able to find about it from people who have it? Anyone familiar with it?

Why are people buying anything smaller than 3"? Aka, Injen? Seriously. Might as well get 3". Same price.

I had a 3" Rebel intake, and a 3" XTC intake at one time .... both of them fit like crap, and there was no performance change between it and the injen. All SS/SC intakes provide about the same gain. Be it 3" or 2.75" (injen/k&n). If you are going TVS or have the LS4 throttle body then yes a 3" intake is a good option to have, but for the M62 guys, or in my case H62, we really wont see that much of a difference in power. Trust me.

Remember bigger is not always better.
