if his block is anything like mine is, it can't be re-used. He'll have to find a replacement.

i havnt done anything but start it up... lol. i droveit around the block and my machinsit knows that. but on the bright side i spoke w Brian (i think that was his name) at Darton today. i talked this dudes ear off for prob a half hour just running down all kinds of possible problems. he said that its not a common problem but it does happen sometimes. he said the ALUM A SEAL will work and its not just a temp fix. it will hold up to anything i wanna throw at it. that made me smile =D

Well good news! The fix seemed to have worked. Cobalt is alive and well. Ran it all last night and i have no more coolant in the oil. hopefully it holds together. props to Wicked for the break in tune. let the madness begin!

it runs a lot better than i thought. im running out what pump gas i have in it. which is like a year or better old... haha. but its runnin rich as *****. idles smooth for the most part. i have to do a case re-learn and i dunno how yet. but ill search. but it shoots flames. ha! its SUPER touchy with that ls4tb. but i kinda like it. i gave her a little hell just to see what she had and it was scary fast. im still running it open DP so its so loud it hurts. if the weather is nice ill take it to my buddyand have him tuck a muff under there.

It's about ****** time bro! Glad to hear that you're back on the road. The bottom end of mine is pretty much done. I got like two more weeks before my phantom is moving again.

so i think i nuked #4 piston... wont know till i tear it apart. oil on top of the piston is a pretty good sign. 162 miles into my break in. rarely had the engine over 4000 rpms. went to rev match down shift and it popped mid rev... FML.
