MP90 on a 3" made 23-24 psi, stock long block w/ a exhaust system
This!!

That hot rod article was an interesting to read, but not very accurate.

Not to mention they were runnin the stock valve springs with those hotter cams.

Also, that 372 was bhp not whp, so really not that great. There are a decent amount of TVS 1320's making that kinda BHP.

yeah there are 1320's making 372whp and more ... Area did it years ago lol

it has been pointed out before ... the 1900 wants/needs a bigger motor to spin it.

ive seen first hand that a 1320 can be too much for a stock bottom end LSJ as it is when pushed hard enough.

So is this at long last, long story short, not worth it to run on a 4cyl car? Fun, but useless in terms of using it to its potential I mean..

Where's that FMSR 3.0L ecotec? Sounds like the perfect motor for this.

Oops. I thought it was the same car. Thanks for clearing it up. Nice that there are more black big power LSJ's in that area.

PS. Did you run them? I saw a youtube of a turbo swapped cobalt racing a turbo swapped ion around tx2k.

Its an LSJ with a built 2.4 bottom end. And yeah I ran them. I have the vids I have to upload lol. I pulled on Roy (Cobalt Fast) on his 27 psi setting which is 580-600whp, and didn't get to run him when he turned it up. Then I ran Mark and Marcus in the video you saw. Was trying to set up a 3 way race but ended up being Mark getting the jump since I was sleeping and I had to play catch up til about 140. Then I realized my fuel pressure had tanked and we pulled into a gas station for me to look over things to make sure nothing popped. Thank God I'm on E85.

Freakta, your car is a great candidate for this blower.

Its an LSJ. He has ET Streets on it, but his coilovers are too soft. We ran on his 27 psi (580-600whp setting) and his ET Streets and I was on 30 psi on my 259et on just my R888's from a 60 and he spun a little and I didn't spin at all. We ran twice and I pulled a few cars each time. I told him to stiffen the coils in the rear because there is no reason my car should hook better. Although he makes more torque on his 2.4 bottom end.

The blower seems it would benefit from a polish or maybe port matching of the lsj intake manifold, anyone know who might do that work, i know arm does the blowers, but who does the intake mani's?

Lsj mani's are a royal pita to p&p. One of those things that is hardly worth the cost vs gain.
