You know what I want to see....this is just a random thing I am thinking about doing. I am wondering what is going to gain more power a ported head+valve springs+m62, or just a tvs and stock internals. I really think the ported head is going to produce more of a whp gain then just slapping on the tvs. I might try that one of these days and see which puts down more.

I strongly doubt the LS4 alone is your issue. I made 298 with the LS4. Also what kinda dyno is these numbers from, that can have alot to do with it also. 280 your first time out isn't bad. I did 278 my first time out, made some changes over winter, picked up 20hp. I've made some changes since last dyno so I expect even higher next time out.

Any time that your increasing an engine's power by 50% your going to have issues to track down, determine them, solve them and go from there. Don't worry about all the folks on here thinking you should be making 300+ right off the bat. Getting the car to run properly and how you want it is not a race. It should be solved with patience and a calm head.

Initially last summer when I first dynoed I was on the 75MM pulley and had issues with the AFR dropping into the 10s, I was also commanding 11.5. I was running stock timing also. Piston protection was on and causing added enrichment I didn't need and 11.5 is far too rich. I imagine spark blowout was also occuring being on stock plugs at stock gap.

Few other key things, I was running washer fluid at the time because I didnt have anything else with me in Ohio and that **** is just no good, only 10% methanol.

I'm also going to move from 50/50 water methanol mix to 67% methanol 33% water but I need some empty containers to make the trip up to the place for some

Ls1 Throttle bodies are cable driven and not compatible with the LSJ. A 1900cc blower on a 2000cc motor is stupid and inefficient. I've yet to see a single cam for the LSJ thats actually been proven to work.

Hot Rod mag could learn a few things from people on this forum.

How about turning this thread around and people posting their setup with what they laid down on the dyno with the TVS? Just a thought.

Scott, you've got 6 posts you need to delete, since they're all the same.

Ok, you have fun trying that. Not to mention the money involved to just squeak over 300whp. That article was not based off of whp, but rather crank. After math it amounted to under 300whp. And that was being conservative on the numbers.

It is phail to put a 1.9L blower on a 2.0L motor.

Also keep in mind, the 1320 isn't exactly a small blower either and is a snug fit. Not to mention the 1.9...That is just beyond stupid. But hey, if you feel you can do better, by all means. I'll be here waiting to see the numbers that you will be so discouraged about.
