i never said what i made. cause i don't know. but i know its more than 260. the dyno we were TUNING on was way off. owner said people generally dyno'd 8%-12% less at his dyno than any where else

why expect any more than 300 with the "stock" TVS pulley? 90% of TVS owners are still on teh stock pulley. almost all of the "TVS dyno #'s" threads are on base tunes from ott with almost no individual tuning done. that's it. until there is more time spent on the tuning, then no, you won't see over 300. drop pulleys, do supporting mods and tune like a **** and you'll see well over 300. i imagine i'm there already
I've got some stuff I'm gonna be doing. Hehehe

My Progressive Meth Kit is going in Friday - 80/20 meth/water mix I'll be running. Also, once we get it dialed in, I'll be dropping down to a 2.9 on the TVS. I'm already bored with the 3.1..Yeh it's still a blast to drive, but I want moar!

Bah...not!

Think of meth as a 5th injector. At 1/4 throttle it would make no sense for your injectors to dump fuel to support wot if you're not wot. The meth kit is no different.

Einstein, I didnt say I expect over 300 on a stock TVS pulley. howerver 290-300 should not be out of the question with basic supporting mods like 3" exhaust, decent dyno tune, and maybe w/m injection. I have personally watched two TVS cars dyno just as I described ^^^ and put down 280/240. One of which I rough-tuned after he leaned out horribly on a canned tune. The other was tuned by WickedSS, who is a respected tuner.

Considering that on the same day I dynoed 255whp and 240wtq with only a 2.9" pullied M62, 2.5" exhaust(stock manifold), and meth injection. The torque curves were very similar. i dont think its worth $2000 to gain 25whp and 0wtq.

Riddle me this:

The Nozzle sprays a Methanol mix which goes into the combustion chamber. When you are on meth your car will run richer. So how is the nozzle for meth not like an injector?

Simply because it does not flow the amount, say 60's do, does not mean it is not similar to an injector. Plus, that is how you tune for meth. As if it was a 5th injector.

Actually... Meth will lower IDCS.

Add meth to a car and leave the tune. Look at your AFR.. OH MY!.. Its richer...

Hes not saying it is a 5th injector.. but it does add fuel like one.

i thought you were saying that you thought it WAS dumping the same amount as a fuel injector. but methanol. i misread it

Well 6gph is what I'm using right now. 1 gallon is 6.6 lbs so that would like a 40# injector. If you were spraying 10gph, which I plan to, it's like a 66# injector. So it is very much like a 5ht injector.

I was referring to Area im curious on how much horsepower he gains between 7000rpm to his 8000+ redline which people on a stock motor cannot do then folks try to compare his numbers to everyone else's who do not have valve springs and cannot rev to 8000+ and then try to praise it all under exceptional tuning

then it's as simple as "they need to re-tune"

my 285 was had in very bad conditions on a very safe (and rushed) tune. i made 250 wtq. easily. when conditions are better, and with my revised tune, 300+ can be had on the stock TVS pulley, with much more to be had if I pulley down

2000 for the blower for 25hp/0tq? not quite. but let's use your math

$2000 (TVS) + 55 (any size TVS pulley you like) = well more than 25 hp.

come on, did you really think people would stay on the stock TVS pulley forever?

I just ported and polished freakta's yellow balt he also has a TVS he goes to SMG on saturday we'll find out if it makes a huge diffrence? I deffinintely took out quite a bit of material in the runners as well as took the exhuast port from a 110 degree knee in, which is horrible!!!! to a 70 degree knee with 23mm bowl's (stock where 16mm) that I hand blended into the runners. that head flows 38% more over stock at .240 inches of lift!!!!! and 46% more at .480 inches of lift!!!!! I better see some numbers of the tunner needs a bumb on the head..... No I love Fred he's pretty good. With a port job like that and the mirror polish the numbers on an M62 car would be rediculous!!

i'm running 90/10 methanol/water @10gph. and it works out to only 5%/95% methanol/gasoline per cylinder
