TVS is in and ZZP is almost done tuning

So been going back and forth with ZZP for a few weeks now logging and tuning this thing.... i have a high idle right now that I can't hunt down, I've replaced all gasket and even put in brand new fuel injector cups thinking that's where the vacuum leak might be but I just can't hunt it down.... anyone have any ideas? I also went back to the stock intake with the bottom hacked off and I've got much lower IATs because of it. Very happy with the way the car is running, feels very strong....

Also, recently I've noticed a large tick that accelerates with rpm im thinking it's time for a timing chain tensioner to be updated, I'm not driving the car until the new one arrives and gets installed for fear of hurting the motor. The ticking sounds like lifter noise but like I said from all the research I've done by reading I'm assuming it's the tensioner.

my wheels arrive tomorrow, very happy to finally get off the stock rims and onto a set that looks really nice.

any suggestions, my ears are open

Looks good Louie. And yes I would get the upgraded tensioner for the timing chain if you are hearing that rattle in the engine. Can't wait to see the dyno numbers once you get her all dialed in.

High idle is likely because you have a VTA catch can that's hooked up to the intake tube post-MAF. Remove the filter and plug that hole - catch cans shouldn't VTA, especially when they're properly connected to the intake tract.

my high idle was from my dual bypass endplate not having the rubber gasket where it connects to the supercharger, I added it and it went away immediately I feel so stupid lol, but I also sealed up the catch can like you said. Running much better now.

I'm ordering the tensioner this week and going to do the install by zip tying the crap out of the chain to the cam gears, it's basically as easy as making sure those don't move, taking the old one out, and then screwing the new one in right?? No trick once it's in to make it open up and engage right, the new ones automatically do that right?
