Isn't it though.
Thanks. I am trying really hard to laugh instead of crying.

I guess I don't understand how you are going to seal up the block after you remove the place for the filter.

Depending upon the size of the ports I would drill into them to give myself a nice round opening then I would break out the NPT tap and tap it, then install 2 AN fittings
I saw the thread when you first posted but I held out on any comment to see if you would let us know the route you would take.

Sorry to hear this Rod. That is complete crap. I would start w/ the shipping company. If that doesnt work then go to the supplier and between the 2 of them do not take no for an answer.

I am not a machinist so this doesn't just look really easy. Then something needs to be rigged for the oil cooler and a way to mount it in the engine bay.
All of that seems like "custom" work and I have learnt what that means, timeXmoney=PITA.
The bottom line, I am not paying a bloody cent for this repair. This is someone else's problem and I am not going through the hassle, other than some ranting come Monday/Tuesday.

The bottom line is that the buck does stop with JBP. They did the shipping and they have to deal with shipping company. When I arrive on Tuesday I will demand a immediate fix or I stop the rwd project, dead.
That does look like it solves the problem but I am interested in seeing the completed motor/solution as well. Where was that?
