At her age, you have to expect a little wear, tear and abuse.

DD Update

It isn't an engine but this will give me a little something to do while I wait as the return system showed up today.

I always like the blue and red fittings in the engine bay.

While I agree that those look nice, I would prefer seeing a running engine in there more.

Well the have to be up because my wife and 3 cats won't let me off myself.
On a bright note I got fired this week for taking the time off to deal with all of the set backs. Now I get to take 2-3 weeks to work on the DD and house.

Good about all the available time but bad about the funds...will this affect the always depleating bank account for the car builds?

That is likely wise because it is likely one of those "it needs to be passed to someone" type of curse.

Technically it wasn't my day off, but I was supposed to be on a "rained out" day when the boss found something for 4 hours, which didn't work for me, then I ended up talking with all of the shops back east. By the time I got off the phone there was an email saying I was fired. So I had a nap.

The engine just got to JBP today and the parts are already there too. The engine is supposed to ship back to me on Monday. :crosses fingers:

What is even more unbelievable is that he was going to give me the priviledge of working the long weekend (provincial) just so I got a few extra days, while he was going away camping

As for your clutch, you have no complaints on how long she held out for you.

Yes it is. I told him that all things considered the car(s) stress me out more than loosing a job. My experience makes it just a matter of a phone call or 2.

It's about freaking time. Were you using the WOT box when it happened or experimenting off the box?

Lasted 37,850 miles at over 280whp since month 3 of ownership (bought with 46 miles on it) been turbo'd at over 365whp since last august, 411whp since feb, and finally crapped out.

I got wot box happy and 2-step addicted and finally put it out of it's misery last week lol, on the way to E-town no less too lol.

I have no complaints though, it shoulda died almost 2 years ago when I was 2.55 pullied and making 290+whp lol.

I know how that goes man, I hate my job sometimes cause they pull that crap with me... even worse is I'm on salary, so I don't even get paid for the 15-20 extra hours a week I put in,.
