And changing the spark plugs won't make the code go away....turning it off makes that happen.
I didnt say the rear O2 sensor had anything to do with AFR. I was stating HOW an O2 sensor works. The rear O2 sensor reads the exhaust gas the exact same way the pre-cat O2 sensor does. only difference is the ECU wants to read a constant signal from the post-cat and a fluctuating signal from the pre-cat.

And I didn't say reprogram the O2 sensor value, I said shut it off. As for the spark plugs, that was just a theory. I figured it wouldn't hurt trying.

Yea I also got neg rep " ZZP Downpipe w/cat 07-31-2007 09:32 PM you have no idea do you..?? lol "

I guess I'm in the wrong line of work then...Hope he doesn't tell my boss I know how an O2 sensor works

i dont know about gains on the ss n/a, but i can tell you, that whatever you buy, you wont have to change it out when you s/c your car. all the exhaust stuff will be fine. your intake (if you have one) may not fit anymore, but i'm not 100% sure.

had you decided to go turbo, none of your exhaust components would be compatible.

just thought you should know

What appears to be is not so my friend. these are after market headers alright from ZZP but are two totally different products. take a closer look.

Your two hole collector is for a mid length ZZP header.

the other header is longer and will bolt up to factory header but also there is a shorty header made by ZZP. but this product is no longer available I have been told.

A friend of mine has the mid length and I bought from ZZP just early spring and have the shorty. I have seen both, installed mine and assisted with problems installing the other (problems not completely a Problem with ZZP). other than ZZP needs to ship stronger bolts with the product, everything else is top notch.

I put on my downpipe 2.5 with cat yesterday car sounds mean..I love it...Its just a little bit louder and it actually has a nicer deeper tone to it....My mods are gmpp manifold, corsa catback and zzp downpipe w/cat also stage 2 and so forth... Your car will sound different and i personally love it... My cat is still breaking in you can smell it but other than that no problems with this setup at all...

I thought that my downpipe wasnt going to fit because i had my corsa welded on, and i thought the downpipe wouldnt fit it looked like it was half an inch off but tourqing it and wiggling it around it finally fit and no exhaust leaks at all

My 3" ZZP exhaust gets an addition. Full 3" exhaust tomorrow morning...LOL I just cant wait. if you think that will be loud you should try a hole in the exhaust pipe just after the resonator. a hanger ripped out and **** that is like having a cutout. it is stupid loud. my new 3" will be quiet in comparison. if that is too loud than I know what will get changed next to quieten it down but sacrifice HP.

do NOT go catless, it will **** with your emissions if they check for the cat and it has been reported for low end torque loss. Just put it on or get a HF cat.

for everyone running stg2, gmpp sports exhaust, the zzp dp with cat and gm honed manifold.... is it alright for daily driving? This is my only car for now and I want to do all that, but if its going to make it at all unreliable, im going to wait til i get another ride.
