Started getting everything ready for the trip to the machine shop and snapped a few pictures.
Forgot I had this... Bolts to the starter holes and holds the flywheel for engine assembly.

Part number if anyone wants one. I cant remember what I paid, but it was either 12 or 22 bucks on ebay

Quick snap while I can

That oem ringland tho!

I got the TB pigtail this week, and i got the pulley boys tensioner tool from a buddy today too as well

Ok i think i got some matching spacers that will work out perfectly, gonna test fit them against the bolts to see how they do, got much more precise fitments using inches instead of MM. Should be here by monday so we will know something. If it works out well ill order the M6 extended bolts in exactly the same size as what ZZP gives with their kit.
Trying to make both holes match the M6 bolt, in the same way that ZZP made the phenolic mounting holes match the thickness of the included M8 bolts.

Ordered a new 2.5 bar tmap, and the pigtail today. sensor was 30 from amazon. pigtail was 28 shipped.
I think I'm going to order a TOB and clutch line today. After that I think the only thing left that I need is the clutch/flywheel

Spec flywheel and stage3+ clutch
The oem flywheel is not like the oem in the f35 cars. It's a different material and doesn't like very aggressive clutch disks. They wear prematurely

Dont order the TOB I have a brand new one sitting in my room

that looks like it. pm me what you want for it.
Also, my headgasket and return fuel system showed up today. Still trying to figure out how this thing hooks up. I understand how the return style works, but with the parts supplied, I'm having a hard time seeing how it is meant to go together.
I wanted to double check the "whats in the box", but the site is down

for the return system. Ours doesnt have the quick swap end that makes the return line easy. plus ours feeds on the cyl 4 side, and would need to exit at the cyl 1 side. the fuel line would neet to wrap back around either the front or back of the engine.
the lsj rail feeds on cyl1 and will exit cyl 4

I have mixed feelings about it, anything under 500hp, I see no reason for it. Only in extreme cases where your running a high flow pump with big injectors and you need that volume and steady regulated pressure, like with high hp E85 builds, do I feel its a necessary conversion. Under 500hp on pump gas, or stock fuel pump, let the ECU do the work. I find the returnless system to be remarkably pain free when it comes to tuning as well.

I am going to be e85, id1000's, and aem320
plus pulling nitrous off the rail.
keep in mind I plan to run the tvs on a 2.6 and ati (so ~2.5)
it seems that people run into fueling issues way before then on e85

lol fair enough then, makes sense to upgrade the fuel system with that much feeding off one rail.

I have been reading up on fuel systems and tuning, and am starting to stress out over my lack of tuning knowledge.
On their brfs page, Zzp says that the lsj ecu stops compensating fuel at 17psi, and the 2.4s stop at 12 psi, and that's why they run boost reference to automatically add fuel pressure resulting in more fuel.
Reading up on the setups, it looks like the zzp brfs and the ottp rsfs are basically the same concept. The fuel Lab regulator has a nipple to increase pressure with boost 1:1 as well as the one that comes with zz kit.
So basically if I leave the nipple unhooked it will keep constant pressure, but if i hook it up it will increase with boost? Is that what people mean by "base pressure"? The pressure at idle because it will go up with boost?
What are the limits of the e37 in terms of boost? Spawn, you seem to have a pretty solid understanding of tuning
Haha my knowledge of tuning is essentially zero. I have a good understanding of the mechanical aspect of everything, but the tuning is where I have zero experience haha.

just did some more research and verified that I am, in fact, completely ignorant when it comes to fueling/tuning.
it raises 1:1 to make up for the boost pushing back on the injector. so the fuel pressure rises 1psi per 1psi of boost to keep the differential constant under boost. derp. makes so much sense now.
I think I just found out what I'm going to use the oem nipple on the manifold for...
