I have no problem going for more in the future, I just want a low boost setup to start with...I can upgrade or turn it up later on....main thing right now is saving a little here and there to buy the parts I need one at a time....I am cheap so it'll take me a while to find everything plus I won't install it until the car is paid off (just to insure that if anything does go wrong, I will have more money available to fix it).

My goal is 180-200whp, but I'm sure with a basic setup it will probably be in the upper range anyway, may surprise myself and be over 200whp which is fine as well. I have no plans to put new internals in this car though. I'd rather keep it closer to the 200whp than ~225+ whp simply because if something goes, the car will just go back to stock (I'll find a replacement engine and sell off the turbo setup) and I'll play with something else (maybe my Saturn or Dune Buggy or buy something else...I want an 05-06 GTO or 03-04 Mustang Mach 1...I can't have the car in my sig...no back seat for the kid).

if u only want 180-200whp a turbo on about 8pounds of boost w/ stock internals will do it, my buddy has an ion w/ the l61 motor in it and he was at 185whp with just a turbo setup and tune, just dont up the boost to much or too quick or u may blow ur motor like he did twice

Whenever I do get the money I want to get stage 1 cams, 2.4 TB, Trifecta tune, a 50 wet shot, and then a tranny cooler.
