Logical opinions please!

Sadly I'm getting bored with the car already . I've got hptuners coming because the trifecta blows. But anyway. What's true results of dropping to a 2.7 if any? Obviously I have the cooling but idk if there are true results. I'm thinking about nitrous maybe 50 shot. Tvs is just to hard to come by for the money for me. E85 is out of the question to as there aren't any stations around. I'd put cams in it but I have to order blanks from gm and have them custom ground. And I just put this motor together I'm on motor work break haha.

From 2.8 to a 2.7 not a lot of difference in either power. Why not just do a 2.5 or 2.6.? You may prob gain 5-10 hp but the amount of trq you'll ,gain 20-25 trq, you'll feel the difference. You're shifting the power band sooner and all power will be in 15-2k earlier.

Seems you have the cooling mods needed to actually benefit from that small size pulley if you have meth, dual pass and opt b.

So are you running a 07 head? How hard was it to get it running? I would love to have a tunning option other the trifecta.

The entire engine is 07. Had to rewire the entire ECM just so I can run hptuners.

Guess you didn't see my sig. That motor isn't going anywhere. There's a reason it's got eagle rods wisecos and arp studs

As an update I just ordered my hptuners. Trifecta can keep their doo doo ass tune. I found a deal on cams I may go that way. Just have to get valve springs though. But nitrous is so easy hmm

I would go 2.6 + meth if you're going to be on stock cams

Turbos are no fun. They are only for big power. I like the drive ability and on demand power of my supercharger
