See how much Magnuson will give me for it, or list it on here as needing a rebuild....

Those are some nice pics. I didn't realize it was painted that nicely. Hopefully the paint job holds up. That seems to be the modular pulley setup.

Let's get er on and see what happens.

Got the new one on...MUCH better.

Just waiting on a tune now - and I gotta figure how to seal my MAP sensor better...

Rotors on the old supercharger (even marks on the round faces...)

All installed:

It was ported when I bought it.

I noticed the Stage 2 pulley was kinda loose on the old supercharger, but I don't believe that to be the source of the noise...different sound when I moved it.

you should only port the wide area of the V, not the narrow part closer to the intake side... thats a big issue right there

Will do.

I definitely still hear a little bit of noise in the cabin, but I'm beginning to think that this is just normal, due to the solid design. It's so much quieter though...

Vince told me 11.5-12.5 at WOT is what was optimal.
11.5 - 12.0 is optimal. 12.5 is a bit too lean

Lets see, so I went out and datalogged for Vince. Still running pretty lean everywhere, but that's to be expected with the different pulley and all.

I get a tiny bit of blower whine too, the cork gasket seems to be working decently for the MAP.

I don't hear any SC noise in my cabin, but I have a 2009 so it may be quieter inside. I don't know.

When I went from the 3.0 to 2.9 my numbers went more lean by about .3 to .5. I sent a message to Vince, just waiting for a response.

No problem on the cork gasket solution, lol, j/k

Yeah, the only time I hear it really is for a quick second when transferring from idle to movement, basically...like 1100 rpm it has a resonance, but that seems normal...

When we talked I wrote down 11.5 to 12.5, but there as a lot of information, so I must have misunderstood. Sorry!

That isn't too bad at all then. You're good.

He told me it was all right to leave it on.

Does he increase the pressures anyways?

yes. he increases the pressure. the B&M just further increases pressure. I can still chirp the tires, so i dont really care for the B&M
