im about to start some kind of braket for the map sensor and im waiting for a retune because for some reason my 6800 limiter didnt go on my most recent tune. the fuel still cuts out at 6500. and also my ss supercharged gauge cluster with the speedo and tach should be in tonight and im gonna hook that up. i have a 2008 cobalt so the 2007 cluster shoudl work right? thats what i was told.

maybe increase the area scalar in your tune. Either that, or your throttle body needs to be cleaned. (did you clean it before you put it on? strangely the smallest amounts of residue can actually make a difference)

car is running a ton better with this new tune! i actually got into a race with a slightly modded lexus isF and lost of course but i put up a damn good fight lol had him through 4th gear but once i hit 5th... that gear is too damn long lol. lost all of my momentum... still pulled pretty hard but nearly as much as the other gears! it was from like a 40 ish roll and he finnally passed me at about 120ish. not bad i couldnt believe that! i kept on the throttle just for fun but then ran out of road and let off at 137 but was still pulling. lol im really liking this build! and none of this could have been completed if i hadnt gotten any help from any of yall so just saying now thank you again to everyone in helping me along with this build!

noooo, by no means does it do the same. a wideband is more precise then a narrowband. the parameters the wideband measures does what its named, it measures the wideband of parameters lol. if you want better and precise tuning wideband is the way to go. narrowband gauges are wat ricers put in their cars to look cool haha. a wideband mounts in your exhaust to measure the AFR, a narrowband you just wire into your distributor i believe it was. which one would you think is more accurate?

haha ya i believe you i bet the wideband was better but its just the fact that the wideband was 250 i think and the narrowband was like 65. lol im not trying to rice it out im just saying i didnt want to put too much into this because i might just might be getting a ss t/c... what do yall think? if you had a huge discount on a 2010 ss t/c but had to sell your 2.2 s/c would yall?

i mean gahhh i put soo much work into my 2.2 and its my first car so its like one of those things you never want to get rid of. but now with it supercharged to put any more performance its just going to cost way too much! all internals need to be done and then the performance id like to add... vs getting a brand new ss t/c before they stop making them, for cheap, and have about if maybe more power than my car has now stock! and i know those lnf internals are tough!

Yeah they r tough.. people r actually starting to build those engines.. and they have lsd, traction cntrl, the seats(drool), the suspension, turbo, easy 300whp from just a tune and dp, great rims and braking system, usb radio.. list goes on

If u want it man it will be night and day between them.. but ur first car will always be ur fav.. especially if u build it. Its all up to u

you can get a wideband for $199 shipped on ebay. even check the classified for used ones. but honestly, i dunno. i would be hard to sell my cobalt for a ss/tc. im in the same boat as you, this is my first car ive bought off a lot. and ive put alot of money and hard work into it. if i could id get both cars lol. now my civic, id trade that sucker in for a ss/tc in a heart beat

lol ya thats what im thinking guys, i mean my i have three ss t/c at the dealership right next to me! im thinking either red or black lol. prolly going with another red. but ya fonzi, its got all of that and the wing and body kit and no lift shift and its a crazy blast to drive! i want one but at the same time like i said ive put soo much blood sweat and tears into my car its hard. lol. it just seems like everything is going in the right direction for me to get it, i have a massive discount on a new one, i have a hookup on insurance, and i can actually afford it right now and get a amazing down payment on it because im still at home for a other year! im thinking of getting one, but no matter what... i still think that nothing trumps the sounds of a screaming eaton! lol
