Question?( im not familiar with tuning) but back when you said

"The only downside I have with this entire build is the transmission. The gearing is way different on the ss's which gives them a very good advantage. We're working on looking at all the options to fix this. You can either get gears and put them in the stock housing or get a custom fly wheel made and use the ss transmission. Lots of things to think about."

Is there not a tcm tune that can improve/help this issue?

they are super easy. especially the rears. for the front just make sure that you have a spring compressor. and it would be handy to keep a air gun if you have the ability use one. the rear you basically just unbolt the torsion bar so it drops down, pop out the old spring, cut the bump stop install the new springs, and rebolt the torsion bar. if yours is anything like mine it will prolly fight against you but remember the 10% rule lol. there should be some how to's in the how to section about it that will explain it more and have pics

gearing is something you gotta do internally in the transmission. a tune wont change the gears. a tune can change the shift points, shift firmness and i think other things, but i know it cant change the gearing. hope this helps and if im wrong or missing info someone with more experience please correct me

no black cobalt 707 i believe your right the tune cant change the tune because the tune is mechanical. yes it can change the shift points an maybe how the shift feels, but not as far as gearing. and thats what i was looking into, changing the gears, my first gear is nothing but a burnout, my fifth gear is too long and i dont pull as hard lol. i raced a isf a few nights ago and actually had him till my fifth gear kicked in then i just got raped lol.

and by the way would anyone mind if they could send me a lowering spring how to? i couldnt find one. thanks guys!

so i guess you kept the stock headers and dp on? Im going to run into that problem when i do my build. already going to spend over 1100 for parts i need. wife is going to stab me when i tell her the dp and headers need upgraded lol. the headers should be fine but dp will not. im 07 and built with the sc headers. dp is lil 1.75 inch pipe

yea, its all stainless, and the header is ceramic coated as well. (hence the initial price tag..lol). Its right off of my old setup, and worked damn well. You'll definitely feel a big difference.
I remember when i put the stock header/DP back on before i sold the car, it felt so weak.
