supercharged build problem
i thought the same thing dude, lol. once you get it off, you'll see there was no reason to worry
ya lol ive got the guages on was a sinch a bolt and clip off lol thanks guys! its just the air bag flip up scared me haha. oh and i had something that i wanted to ask... how much are you guys boosting with a 2.8 pulley or how much are you boosting in general?
damn dude well; i think there might be some kind of pinch or something in my boost line tubing, i floored it yesterday and only peaked 5.5 psi... and it doesn NOT feel like 5 more like 10 or more. its very loud and pulls hard but 5? any reason you think its like this? i also am running on stock headers so would this effect it? and the tubing doesnt seem to have a pinch in it.

My cat or exhaust I should say doesn't sound wrong just louder because of the blower. On my t-fitting one of the nipples is connected to the small nipple on the manifold, another is connected to the boostguage itself, and the last is connected to the vacuum line. Yea the vacuum looks normal but when I hit the throttle the vacuum shoots to only 5.5 psi boost... It honestly feels alot more than that.
And does anyone know where to hook in a tranny temp sensor lol and also on a air to fuel ratio, where would you connect on the o2 sensor? Sorry for a lot of questions and late response I'm at work lol thanks guys!

i have a t-fitting the left and right sides are one to manifold and the other to the vacuum line that is plugged on the throttle body. and the last nipple facing up goes to the boost gauge. is the nipple from the picture above on the top right supposed to be connected? ans if so to what? that may be my problem cause i dont have it connected. its just taped
Yeah nothing to it. And nothin should be teed man. Boost goes straight to the nipple on the man right by the injectors and nothing into the tb connector. And big booster goes to tb. And the top nipple on the bpv should be already routed to the blower.

lol i found what it was! fonzi was right and you as well hunterkiller i hooked the hose up to the manifold and to the boost gauge and then the nipple on the wastegate to the vacuum hose. now it all works i peak 17psi not bad lol. does anyone have any secrets on to how to keep the stock map sensor in place on the intake manifold? i use my stock one and put it on the intake manifold but it popped out and made the car go insane lol. anyone have any ideas? a bolt wont work because its not lined up properly.
ya lol thats what i was thinking but i was just asking if there was an easier way i guess not lol. well its all good. ive put soo many hours into this car of work whats another hour or two? lol
