well i had put rubber in the middle so the opposite charges wouldnt touch but the rubber slipped out and they did. so all day today i stripped the engine or at least the sc parts and redid it. just now got her running with the water pump and intercooler running as well. still choppy but wow what a dfference its come since the first start up. only thing is now i drove a little around the neighborhood and came back home ran great! but after i stopped and let it idle a little like pretending to be at a red light, it was like she didnt want to move, reved but once the clutch was let off, it was a real heavy feeling and wouldnt accelerate. im guessing its just because it needs to be tuned which i understand. but one thing i noticed when i got home is that theres something steaming or smoking (seems like steaming tho, where the heat exchanger and radiator and ac condensor is. not sure what happened but just let her cool down for the night. not sure why, all i know is that the farthest back peice is real hot. This is what i think it is in the order from front to back:
Engine
Radiator
Heat exchanger
AC condensor
Front of the car
its in that order so if anyone has any idea why its doing this please feel free to say thanks guys!

Damn mad. Where to u have the hookup from the valve cover to the intake hooked up to.
The reason i ask is cause i saw thi too when i had a breather filter on it and thought my car was smokin.. turns out it was just the vaprs comnin from the valve cover

lol well i did notice that first from the vavle cover but i found out what the prob was its just a small leak thats falling on the hot radiator and is burning or should i say evaporating is what is is no biggy. but i do have a question, im looking for the ngk iridium 9 step 2 colder plugs for my motor and no one has them and i figured so i talked to the guy at modern performance and he said he was getting some shipped in and it would be about a week. he said they are the same size as the ss turbocharged plugs... is that true? will ss t/c plugs fit into a 2.2? cause he said that they would. but the ss s/c ones are different.

Well first off all u need is the 1 step colder.
Second the 2.2 has its own spark plugs but people have been successfully running the ss/sc ones with no problems.
And i Highly doubt they(ss/tc) will work but thats just my opinion(someone correct me if i am wrong)
But u can get them off the zzp site

geez well then i guess i spoke to a newbie lol because he said if your running 2.8 pulley youd want a 2 step colder plug. and he didnt think the ss s/c ones would work but hey if theyll fit and run properly then thats all good with me ill go and pick some up. what kind of plugs are you using bro?

I am using the autolites from autozone.. still have to order me some NGKs
And yeah thats what all the sites reccommend but i have heard of people havung trouble with the two step colders and not liking them.. They r more successful with just the one steps.
Oh and go copper if u can! Good for our cars
and yeah people r running the ss/sc ones fine...

I ran a set of bosch 1 step colder L61 plugs, and later some LSJ NGK 1 step colder plugs. I didnt notice any difference in performance, and didnt misfire with either
