because the 60# doesnt fit the clips from the stock harness so i need to cut them off and solder them back on using the harness that can fit the injectors. and what do you mean by trouble tuning it? like as far as trifecta? i have a 2008 ls 5speed

i just ordered these from them! damn! you think they will trade and i can pay the difference? i havent used these yet just opedned the bag thats all. i was looking at the instructions on your how too and sawe the harness swap for bigger injectors and thats what i was going to do.

secondly the ev6 injectors show to be only 33#. i thought 60 was the way to go

they have 33, 60, and either 79 or 80's in an EV6. the 42's and the 79 or 80s (whichever isnt EV6) comes in EV1 only. (IIRC)

ok well talked to zzp and they said it was perfectly fine to trade in the non used ev1's for ev6 i already like this company great customer service! and so now im waiting for them to just come in. now another question, i have this really annoying belt squeek and its driving me nuts! how do i get rid of it? ive put belt cleaner on and that didnt work made sure all of the pulleys and belts lined up correctly, have even put some baking soda on the belt which shuts it up for almost the whole day but then it quietly comes back and in the morning is kinda loud. any answers on this?

When i finished my blower build in june i had this issue at first but fred ground down my block to eliminate the rubbing of the tensioner, leaving me with just a slight yet still noticeable squeak but it went away with time and only presents now if its below -5 degrees F but goes away after a few minutes.

hmm wow. well i guess thats a plus as long as its below -5 lol depending where you live. i wouldnt ever have to worry about that down here in Texas haha. but ya all i did was put the alternator back on and it worked fine no squeak at all. and when i fit the sc intake manifold in just for fitting it touched the solenoid and sparked! so i had to unhook the battery and cover up the prongs with electric tape and that worked. all i need now is the idler pulley which is being shipped and the small bottom mount that the intake manifold connects to the block with and i believe the water pump connects to it as well. and the new ev6 injectors that are 60# but fit the stock harness are in shipping as well.

the pump just needs to be wired to a switched electrical source. pick whichever you like

hmm so basically yall are saying just get some regular wires and wire it to a fuse that can turn off and on? or at least with the car. ok doesnt sound too hard. it should work with any fuse then right?
