bad idle issue, help!

hey guys,
whenever i come to a stop in neutral, my car rpms bounce between really low then back up to high, it also sometimes dies making it very hard to drive around the city and whenever coming to stop lights/signs.

i cleaned my throttle body as much as a can and it helped for like a day but its back to the same issue. any other suggestions for me to check/replace/clean? thanks guys

Let it sit and idle and unplug the MAF. See if the car changes. If it dosent, well then there may be the issue. Id do the same to the Map as well. Sounds definately like a leak or a sensor issue. use some carb spray and spray around some areas and see if the motor changes and rule out leaks.

the carb spray is sprayed while motor is on? i think i have a leak and havent found the correct way to look for it but i have a good idea on where it is.

yea if the spray finds a leak the engine will rev higher cuz its flammable

okay, is the MAF on the manifold and map on the charge pipes?

it sounds dangerous...lol.

mines supercharged not turbo and i think my leak is where the manifold is. like on the top side that faces the injectors...not sure if you know what im talking about. is that a safe place to try it on?

Map is on the manifold and MAF in the Charge pipe. You can use water too the motor will bog, but with break cleaner/carb spray/maf cleaner, the engine will have a bump in rpm if theres a leak.

i just realized that taking out the map or maf wont help because the bogging/bad idle only happens when coming to a stop. once its able to stay a constant rpm its fine. its either it bounces around until its at normal rpm or it dies and i restart it and its back to normal. ill still check for leaks, any other suggestions?

i did notice when i was cleaning my throttle that there was a bit of oil in my intake manifold, but pipes where clean and i dont have the line from my valve cover to intake, just a breather.

If you move the blade of the TB by hand it screws it up. Search it. I might have an extra one id let go.
