ive seen on here b4 that people were having problems with the 2bar map from zzp popping off when in WOT..is this y lol ? like i cannot get it all the way down for the life of me

 

When I first got my ZZP kit installed on my 2.4 my MAP Sensor kept popping out initially after I went WOT. It managed to work its way in and stay in somehow now.

 

weird..i guess ill see what happins when shes running

 

Try a couple of runs at WOT and check to see if it popped out. It was really weird. One day it just stopped popping out. It never caused me any problems though.

 

why didnt you use the stock sensor?

 

Stock sensor only reads air at atmispheric pressure .. This reads boost..

 

I was told Vince could still make it work

yeah man shes all done ..i kicked it over tonight and it sounds great..really rich but idle is stong and doesnt seem like any leaks ..tune tmr morning

Not yet man .. Been chasing vac/boost leaks all weeknd and at this point i dont even think its a leak i think my boost gauge is getting a bad ground or something .. Going to post another thread about it tn actually

Boost boost! Welp shes up and running ..kinda mad i didnt try and run it 2 days ago but was too scared .. I still cant get the trifecta cable to connect to the car soo i dont have any logs yet but shes running fuc@&ing great ! When boost hits it pulls hard .. A little ruff on a cold start but expected that .. And getting a misfire sometimes at around 5500 in second or first.. The warmer i get the better tho.. And its a little rich.. But so far this is just the basefile soo whne i can get it logged and change my spark plugs (theyr old) ill be ready to see some numbers.. Hoping for 12's

What are your symptoms when the MAP pops out? Do you get wacky AFR's only related to cruising around?

 

Nah my map hasnt poped out it judt sits really weird like that.. Its snug it just wont go all the way in

I get a misfire at high rpm's also but that's only if I stomp on the gas.

 

Regap your plugs

 

will get some this week for sure..car seems to be doing an evap test (i think ) going to get some more loggs and wait for vinces response
