well i at least tried to be on topic lol... seriously thought i can't wait to see the numbers and times once you get a new clutch.. what clutch are you looking at getting? as i'm trying to see how much i will need outside of just the procharger parts for my build, including gauges and such so i can do it right to start out with...
i need premiumz
for the dungeon... pluss it'll give me other threads to distract me while i'm at work

i think our cars with the vvt wud b beasts with the s/c swap...im thinking bout doing it or do a hahn turbo setup. but im just curious bout the tuning of the 2.4. rite now im using hptuners...with the hahn kit iknow they lock the ecu so no1 can get the tune.i wish i cud edit the tune with hptuners..so im on the fence guys.
Beck with the power that the m62 can make, you will not need a Stage 3+ clutch. I wouldnt go with anything higher then a Stage 2 or Stage 2+. The Stage 2 is rated for 300tq. You would only make that much power with a 2.5" - 2.7" pulley. I wouldnt risk the drivability of a Stage 3 or 3+. But the SPEC + flywheel are a great combo. Thats also what im going with.
If I have 211tq on 9psi, no intake or exhaust and he wants to go with a smaller pulley in the future + he's got intake/exhaust and header, it would be a good idea for him to go for the stronger clutch. He's making more power than I am.
nice ride Beck, im eally jealous of you right now. Im hopeing to be not to far behind tho.
Hows the MPG change, does it help out any like the 2.0 do?
Do you think our motors will handle the StgaeII?
How about the automatics, they shouuld hold up?

the autos should hold up nice with a tranny cooler. i think they are rated up to 300-350 on stock axels n such. if ur going to be puttin 60's in the car and running some crazy small pulley..i wud work the motor first and get better axels..but wut beck n pjk are running a tranny cooler will be fine for the auto trans
I didnt say he wont need a new clutch. Im just saying the Stage 3 is made for mild-highly modified engines. The drivability wont be as great on a stage 3 or 3+. It would be slightly over doing it with anything more then a Stage 2+. That things rated for 350+tq.

Looks fun. Ill have to toss you a message this evening.
