2.4L Supercharged Videos
Oh and BTW sorry about the whole flaming that guy up there.
Dude, way to represent the 2.4s, I am happy to see someone willing to push the envelope with our cars. Now let's see how she holds together...

Gotcha. I thought it was rated at much less tq. In that case, I'll go 2+ as well.

#1 mpg is the same or better when not boosting, however its very hard to resist the urge
#2. Stage II doesnt really apply with our cars, because im already running the 42.5's and the stage 2 belt. But im guessing you're referring to the smaller pulley. I think the stock internals could handle a 3.0" pulley at the smallest (which would produce an estimated 10-12psi) So far heat hasnt really been an issue, however what the pistons can handle is another story. The rods are forged so if you really wanted to run a smaller pulley i'd say the best bet would be to buy aftermarket pistons with a different compression ratio that is more adaquit for boost. also in order to run anything smaller than a stock sized pulley you'll need 60lb injectors. im right at 80% IDC on my 42's with a stock pulley. Honestly i wouldnt run anything over 15psi (with upgraded internals), i dont really want to bring the blower out of its effeciency range.
#3 i havnt done much research into the automatic transmission, however i've read somewhere that it can handle up to around 300tq.
Beck with the power that the m62 can make, you will not need a Stage 3+ clutch. I wouldnt go with anything higher then a Stage 2 or Stage 2+. The Stage 2 is rated for 300tq. You would only make that much power with a 2.5" - 2.7" pulley. I wouldnt risk the drivability of a Stage 3 or 3+. But the SPEC + flywheel are a great combo. Thats also what im going with.
Thats my favorite one
p.s. updated first post with before/after pics

no its not hostile...i just dont want anything to go wrong with becks car..i guess i'm alittle conservative but theres nothing wrong in that when you are first boosting a car..well i guess there shouldnt be anything wrong in it

go back to your first post and read through each and every one of your posts on this topic, then you should see. tummy you have done far from defend me in this thread lol. Its more like "oh im pushing 18psi so that makes me faster, tee hee"
Alright so I just viewed your parts list and it doesn't look too bad. Just a bunch of little things. How much did the parts alone come out costing? I could round up these parts over a couple months and probably get it on there and tuned afterwards. My only concern is, will I not have windshield wiper fluid?!?!?
