no u do not need the 2.5 map, trifecta can tune with out, also ZZP posted they have a 2bar map that will work aswell, plus u can always tune off the MAF

MAP is used to engage PE. Fueling once PE is engaged is done via MAF

hey everyone sorry about not posting in awhile... no internet due to lack of funds from saving up for the bash(which I sadly wasn't able to attend) so heres a situation report...

1. still have no internet(using uncles comp right now)
2. still waiting on fuel injectors, which caused me NOT to be able to go to the bash... 1st set was lost in the mail, 2nd set which was overnighted ended up in canada on friday morning.
3. 3rd set was shipped out tuesday which means I won't have them until either monday or tuesday. I had thought over the top would go ahead and overnight the third set as well so I can get my car going by this weekend so I don't have to sit at home jacking off cuz I can't go and do anything. rofl.... Its ok I've been waiting 3 1/2 weeks to get my injectors and I can go ahead and wait another week. I guess over the top didn't make it over the top this time and hit the fence while jumping... oh and this is what they said over the phone when I asked if they were overnighting the 3rd set on tuesday

OTTP(josh) "it was to my understanding since the lone star bash had passed you didn't need them right away so I just sent them regular shipping"

Now before anyone says "well you should've ordered them a long time ago" I ordered them on feb 9th so they can get here the next weekend so I can get the car running two weeks from them which was the weekend before the bash..... oh well....

so yeah when I get my injectors and internet again lol I'll post up tons of pics, vids, and 1/4 mile times.

c yall later

oh and this is how we put the belt on... I lifted on the throttle body side of the sc while john slipped the belt over the sc pulley... tensioner was not compressed during install... do you yall have a link for that tensioner tool? I will most likely buy it for future belt removal/installation

what are you guys running for the tensioner setup? im using the zzp oversize but the stage 2 belt doesnt fit, so im forced to use a larger belt that slips, im going to get a custom tensioner pulley made since i cant get a smaller belt

the ZZP oversize one was made to run with a stock sized belt. An oversized pulley and a stg2 belt shouldnt be necessary until your in the 2.5" range

i'm using the one from Rebel but I don't recommend it. Whenever I get around to it I'm fabbing a new one up. Nothing wrong with it, just not worth 100 bucks.

and my IC pump bracket snapped. pos.

hey everyone just wanted to let yall know i got my injectors in on monday. We put them on tuesday and flashed the computer with the trifecta tune.... we go to turn the car on and well it turns on but... it dies right away, as if not getting gas. we waited til friday to call vince and see if we can datalog with him and well on friday night when we go to turn the car on. it doesn't even crank

anybody have an idea why the car doesn't wanna start? We checked all the relays already, and its a brand new battery as well.

this is very strange cuz my setup was a totally custom setup that he's never done before.. and I'd never done before lol and it fired up the first time then again I have plug and play 60's

it seems like the only 2 things that are similar with all the cars having said problems is not plug and play injectors .. and vinces tune..

i'm wondering if there's an issue with the injectors not sending the right signal back and forth so it's causing his tune to not give enough fuel.....

it's very strange that this is happening now

we soder'd the tb and the maf too, but car still ran fine, didnt know they made injector plug and play into our harness except for the ones that are to small, eg 33lbs and the 39lbs that ZZP carries...although i think they have 60's that can plug and play in
