2.4 and 2.2 use the same injectors and harness BTW, there is a allen bolt on the neck neck portion of the blower, its on that part, ull see it, its black, i took mine off, drained the oil out, put it back one, taped over it, so it wouldnt get coverd in paint when i painted the blower, easy to spot check the how to section

update

well I've had lots of bumps and hic ups through out the build /cry lol oh well.... car is done and ready to go but........

theft lock system activated and now my car won't turn on.... so I'm towing it to st. phillips college tomorrow so we can remove it and get the car running. While we are there, I'm gonna have one of the teachers look over the tune with hp tuners.

well I really haven't had many problems... just a late arrival of the injectors, broken byass valve, and theft lock kicking in...

^^ what is it? Clearly a MAP sensor, but is it the stock 1 bar, the LSJ 1 bar, or the ZZP 1.8 bar?

regardless, you need a 1 bar MAP sensor from the LSJ for plug and play, or you can use the LSJ 2.5bar/zzp1.8bar and tune the MAP tables to rescale for the larger range.

depends who your tuner is vince has said its useless and he doesnt need the lsj MAP and he can use the stock one, some tuners would preffer rescaling everything for the 2.5 map

the issue is faking a 2.5 bar map doesn't actually change anything really tuning wise.. you cant use it for what it's intended for

the LSJ has a 1 bar that mounts in the blower, and a 2.5bar/IAT2 sensor that mounts in the intake manifold

so here is whats going on right now... as yall know the theft lock system is on... I towed it to the automotive school where my friend goes/works at. One teacher said that the ECM is fried, and another teacher says that he doesn't think it is cuz if it was nothing would be working at all(radio, instrument panel, and other electrical stuff)

What do yall think?

it is a 1 bar MAP sensor regardless of what the ECU uses the readings for. It's the sensor thats controlling my ECU at the moment as well.

im sure the ECM is fine. i think the same thing happened to me when i was flashing my ECU. I accidentally unplugged something i shouldnt have when the battery was still connected (the engine was off tho), and i saw a tiny spark. I scared myself half to death, so i tried to start the car, and the theft lock thing came on. I dont remember how i got around it tho, but my car drives just fine

Leave your key in the on position for a half hour and the bcm will rel-learn the code.

your ecu doesn't see the extra sensors as it should.. you're FAKING it but it's still necessary.. and a 1 bar map sensor .. wont read extra pressure..

the does he need a 2.5 bar map.. NO

but does he need the SCIP sensor yes..

you're losing me a bit. on a 2.4/2.2, the SCIP is NOT needed to run, as the stock ECU has no parameters to be reading. Because of this, the SCIP 1 bar sensor can be removed and used as a replacement for your stock 1bar MAP sensor since the stock sensor is too small to fill the IM hole. Vince's tune will then have PE mode engaged based on the readings by the 1bar MAP, and fueling above 1bar will be handled by the MAF.
