2.4ss/sc build commenced!!!
i forgot...whos doing your tuning? if its gonna be Vince, then you dont need a pigtail, and yea, you'll need the SCIP, but its only a 1 bar.

We put the map On hazas car on the manifold and plugged the blower whole as it's shown in the build book...so the stock map can go on the blower? And just plug the hole on the manifold?
you did it the better way, which is how im gonna change mine to, but yea, you can leave it. Since the MAP is only used to determine when to enter PE mode, its fine, though sometimes i get as high as 2psi before PE mode kicks on.
I also need to add hat to my how-to, which I will do in spring
erm...kinda

you do not need the sciap sensor unless you are using it to plug the hole, and that is it. don't need the harness for the sciap either...
you need the lsj map sensor which mounts in the upper left of the IM if you are looking at it from the front, and its pigtail. That's if you are going that route. I think it's the simples way to go.

***UPDATE***
thanks to a friend and a couple of teachers at st. phillips college. The car is reflashed to stock and actually turns on now, and since its getting more air went into stupid mode and is putting in alot of gas. Reason for the theft lock was the ecm and trifectas reflash. Everything on the tune was working but.... the program erased the ecm clean so it had no vin#, id codes(I think), and alot of other crucial info.
So.... I'm gonna buy a lsj map sensor, and pigtail and use HP Tuners to tune the car. One of the teachers is gonna help me tune the car. He also said when I get a smaller pulley, and do other stuff he will help me tune for a 6 pack, and some food lol.

Basically, there's more than one way to do this

yeah I told him, he said reason why it did that was due to the ecm losing connection with the tuner. While I was doing the programming I got two errors. He said the tuner might being jacked up, and he might want me to send it back for a new one. Like I said before one of the teachers at school can tune my car with HP Tuners(already credited), but I would need to get the lsj map sensor. If I go that way I'll lose my money from the trifecta tune.

this is only true if you are rescaling the MAP for a 2.5 bar sensor, and Vince does not need you to do this. Therefore it is cheaper and easier to use the SCIP sensor instead of the 2.5bar MAP if your tuning via trifecta.

I'll update the how-to to try n help people out this spring break. I gotta take the blower off then anyway, so ill grab pics of the reinstall
