Why don't more people do it if there's more of a benefit to it?

LZM makes them.

Deleted the balance shafts in my 2.2 and my 2.4, using the method described above in that link. Works like a charm.

Just reading and perhaps not as many people go with the delete kit is because once you press the bushings in they can't be removed. It is a little cheaper I guess. $225 with core charge $150 without but have to send yours in.

Sounds like you have a very level head about this.

Good luck on the build.

Thanks man. I'm a small engine mechanic by trade so I'm not new to engines or tuning. Just new to car engines and HPT haha.

Well finally some news on my build. Black friday was not bad! Picked up 80lb injectors (figured a good investment since i'm only on 60's), neutral balance shafts that I grabbed from ZZP with their final 12% off coupon and their stage 2 cams. Not a bad start I thought. I wanna pull the trigger on kxrida2000's semi built motor he has for sale but has been MIA the last couple days. The deal is settled but not official. Would like to make it official!

Nice grabs I tried to deposit some money for my purchase, but my bank ended up being closed today which blows because I wanted to get my turbo swap started : )
