Well not part of my motor build but look what I picked up for a steal of a deal from G11 to get the power down. Ill be heading to Merica Saturday to go get them. My drag radials are for sale if anyone is interested. Now that my car is no longer a DD I'm goin all out at the track

 

All out track car huh? That's awesome! Do you think you'll ever go turbo? Eventually you may want more than a SC can give you. Especially when your motor is built to take more..

 

Well ill still DD it in the summer. Just if it breaks I don't really care because I have another car now. Nah ill never go turbo for a few reasons. I like whine way too much, I kinda enjoy being the underdog and pushing the SC to its limits. And if I was wanting more power than what I will make I would buy a V8 Rwd. My eventual plan is to purchase a G8 GXP and TVS it. Affordable build that you can make really good power with. Not to mention I absolutely love G8's haha.

Ya a little on the heavy side. One of the things I love most about them is they're rare. I hardly see very many. Especially the GXPs. Can't get them in Canada. And I just find them sexy as ****.

I'm getting the sense that you just don't like turbos.

I'd no more change your mind to go turbo than you would have me stick that TVS on my LSJ.

Considering he has invested this much into tvsing his car. It makes little sense for him to drop another 5 grand to turbo it.

So he goes from running high 12's to low 12's-high 11's...

better off just selling it all and putting that 5 grand into a vehicle that starts off in the 12's lol.

I don't hate turbos at all haha. At the end of the day you can make way more power. But I've gotten to the point now where IMO it would be pointless going turbo for the gains I'd actually get.

SylverSS/SC if you were serious bring what ya got to the interlake dragway. Get as many people as I can round up and make a day of it. At the end of the day engine numbers don't mean everything .

we could do a Mb vs Ab cobalt shootout. everyone puts in x amount of money. we pair up cobalts to race eachother (dependable on mods/1/4 mile times) and whoever wins the most races wins the cash for their prov.
